After reading the book "Dear Pope Francis: The Pope Answers Letters from Children Around the World”, one of our 5th grade Catechism classes was inspired to write their own letters to the Pope.  His office replied with a letter as well as several signed photos of his Holiness for the children to take home. The children were so happy to hear from him!

Lent - a time for drawing closer to God.  Among the many symbols of Lent, the most recognizable is the ashes we have placed on our heads.  Ashes symbolize the repentance we feel because we have not lived up to being the person God calls us to be.  Out of the ashes of our past we can, with God's help, be renewed spiritually and journey to a new life in Christ.

The annual Family Liturgy Committee Bagels 'N Bingo took place on Sunday, Jan. 28, following the 9:30 am Mass.  Everyone had a great time!
