On Friday, May 18th, at 7:30pm, everyone had a great time at the re-dedication concert to celebrate our updated church sanctuary and pipe organ.  Bishop Andrzej offered a solemn blessing and a wine and cheese reception followed.  Thanks to John Buckel, our Music Director, and the entire choir for a wonderfully, inspiring concert!

After reading the book "Dear Pope Francis: The Pope Answers Letters from Children Around the World”, one of our 5th grade Catechism classes was inspired to write their own letters to the Pope.  His office replied with a letter as well as several signed photos of his Holiness for the children to take home. The children were so happy to hear from him!

Our Children's Choir performed for the residents of Dominican Village - a festive time was had by all!

On December 8, St. Rose of Lima participated in our second 'Midnight Run', a volunteer organization dedicated to finding common ground between the housed and the homeless.  

During this 100th anniversary year of Our Lady of Fatima, St. Rose of Lima and the Diocese of Rockville Centre are blessed to have The National Pilgrim Virgin Statue visit us.   The LI tour began here on Sunday Nov. 5, 2017. Bishop Barres presided at 11am Mass, and in the evening we had Exposition, Adoration, Rosary for Peace, Confessions and Benediction.  For more pictures and tour information, please visit www.LICatholic.org.  Click here to read more about the statue.
