Ash Wednesday

Ash Wednesday is February 26, and begins Lent - a time for drawing closer to God.  Among the many symbols of Lent, the most recognizable is the ashes we have placed on our heads.  Ashes symbolize the repentance we feel because we have not lived up to being the person God calls us to be.  Out of the ashes of our past we can, with God's help, be renewed spiritually and journey to a new life in Christ. Ashes are available today at all Masses, 7am, 8am, 9am, 7:30pm, and all prayer services, at 12pm, 3pm, 4pm & 5:30pm
