The Year of St. Ignatius

The Ignatian Year begins today, May 20, 2021, and concludes July 21, 2022.  This year marks the 500-year anniversary of Ignatius' wounding and spiritual conversion in Pamplona, Spain.  Bishop Barres has written a Pastoral Letter introducing the Ignatian Year, and several of our diocesan priests are working on a series of reflections that will come out over the course of the year that begin an exploration of the life and legacy of St. Ignatius.  They will connect the Ignatian legacy with our legacy in 2021.  Read Fr. Michael Bissex's Pastoral Reflection here.
Spiritual God Parent Program

Wondering what one person can do to end the tragedy of abortion in our nation. WE CAN PRAY! Not all of us are called to participate in marches or pro-life vigils, but all of us can make a commitment to a one-minute prayer each day, for the intention of a baby in jeopardy of being aborted. Program officially begins Feb. 28; see the flyer for details. Click for PLEDGE CARD & PRAYER

Thank you Joe Davis

St. Rose is graced with the beauty of flowers thanks to the generosity of Joe and Gina Davis and Joe Davis & Sons Landscaping.  We are blessed!

The Equality Act - Take Action!

Everyone deserves to be treated with respect and dignity. The so-called Equality Act, which is being voted on in the U.S. House of Representatives soon, in many ways does the opposite and needs to be opposed. Instead of respecting differences in beliefs about marriage and sexuality, the Equality Act would discriminate against people of faith.  Visit the USCCB Action Center, enter your information and an email will be sent on your behalf. To read more about the Equality Act visit https://www.usccb.org/equality-act
