Summer outdoor Mass

The parish celebrated a healing Mass on Monday July 8, at 7:30 pm in front of our beautiful mosaic of St. Rose of Lima.
Farewell for Sr. Kathleen

Students and families past and present - so many came out to say farewell to Sr. Kathleen after 30 years as principal of our school.  We will miss you!  Visit our photo gallery to see more pictures.
Pentecost

On Sunday, June 9, we celebrated the Birthday of the Church on the Feast of Pentecost.  Several children and young adults received the sacrament of First Holy Communion, young lectors were installed and we blessed the plants that grew from our Lenten seeds of hope.
Parish May Crowning

The Annual Parish May Crowning and Procession was held on Sunday May 19, 2019, at the 9:30 am Family Mass in the Church.  Thanks to Mrs. Gavin, our FHC children and all those who participated!
Bishops urge passage of Abortion Survivors Protection Act

Archbishop Naumann sent a letter to the U.S. Senate February 5 urging the body to bring the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act to the floor for a vote and to pass it this week. In his letter, Archbishop Naumann asked the Senate to support the "common-sense legislation" that would protect infants who survived abortion attempts.

Blue Mass

On Sunday, Janurary 13, 2019, we celebrated a Blue Mass for Firefighters, Police Officers and EMS personnel at 9:30 am.
Special Diocesan Report

You may be aware from media coverage this past week of the Pennsylvania Grand Jury Report on sexual abuse of minors by Catholic priests that Bishop Barres was referenced in the report stemming from his time as the Bishop of Allentown.
