January 22, has been designated a day of prayer and penance, called the “Day of Prayer for the Legal Protection of Unborn Children”. Please join the Respect Life Committee for one or more of the following events: Thursday, January 22, Holy Hour for Life with exposition of the Blessed Sacrament at 1:00 p.m. in church followed by public recitation of the Rosary for Life on the Merrick Road sidewalk. Masses for the day at 7:30 a.m., and 9:00 a.m. will include prayers for life. Additionally we will be collecting baby items beginning Saturday January 17, and at all Masses through the weekend of January 25. Please see the flyer for more info.
