Due to the faithfulness and sacrifice you have shown by your contributions to St. Rose of Lima Parish, we have been able to maintain the essential ministries which make St. Rose a vital center of Catholic Spirituality, both in prayer and in ministering to those in need.

Please take a moment to watch this short video on Stewardship, by Franciscan Media!

Time and Talent

volunteers make differenceDo you have a special gift or talent that can benefit our Parish?  Don't bury your talent; please share it!  Help us to create a parish that fosters an attitude of care and concern for all.  Please visit our Ministries section of the website for some ideas...

Gift Cards

Our No-Cost-To-You fundraiser!  This program allows St. Rose to raise money by offering gift cards which you can use to purchase groceries as well as other items.  Each gift card purchased at face value earns a rebate for St. Rose.  In this way, St. Rose Parish can benefit "while you shop."

Retail Gift Cards

Gift cards for retail stores may only be obtained around the holidays by using the designated order form. Please contact the rectory for details.

Supermarket Cards

Cards for supermarkets are available following Masses on the first weekend of each month. You can also purchase these cards at the Rectory during business hours.  St. Rose Parish will receive a 4 - 5% rebate for every card purchased.  These cards can be purchased in amounts of $25, $50, and $100, the amount to be determined by you.  We accept cash or checks made payable to St. Rose of Lima Church.  For your convenience, use this fillable form to email your request to our receptionist, mariap@srolchurch.org

Our Sunday Collections

WeShare Logo"Returning to the Lord for all that God has placed in our lives."  Active registered parishioners receive weekly envelopes, which are our primary source of income.  In addition, we have partnered with WeShare, an online giving program, to give you more flexibility and payment options in the management of your donations. We depend upon your generosity as it has a significant impact on our parish, and it enables us to continue to maintain and strengthen our parish for generations to come.

Our Gifts to God

We invite all the young people of our parish to be Christian stewards of their God-given gifts of time and talent.  The objective of these envelopes is not a financial one, but an educational one as we prepare our children for a life of responsible stewardship.

Gifting Retirement Funds

If you are interested in finding out how to utilize the funds in your retirement plan to benefit St. Rose of Lima, please contact Barbara Kilarjian at the Rockville Centre Diocese at 516.678.5800 x 257, or email bkilarjian@drvc.org - thank you for considering this unique and meaningful parish gift!

Memorials

Tree of Life

The Tree of Life is beautifully displayed and is located in the back of the Church; it is the perfect place to remember that important time or special someone in your life.  The cost of a leaf is $2000, and monthly payment plans are available.  Please contact Sharon in the Rectory at sharond@srolchurch.org for more information.

Remembering Loved Ones

A monetary donation, ranging from $30 to $125 to cover the cost of various items used at our Liturgies for a period of one week, is usually made in memory of a loved one, or to celebrate a special occasion.  An acknowledgement of your offering appears in the bulletin, and an attractive certificate is prepared for you to give as a keepsake. For your convenience, use this fillable form for 2023 dates and email your request to mariap@srolchurch.org

Memorials can also be made as one-time donations to the church, for specific Liturgical items, or to benefit any of our Ministries such as our Parish Outreach, Music Ministry, or Youth & Young Ministries.  Please contact the Rectory for more information.

Dear Friends,
Without you, we can do nothing.  This remains true, and for all you do, all your continuing support, we are grateful and thank you.  Despite life's many uncertainties, there will be one constant - we will do all in our power to continue to support you in your spiritual journey.  In turn, we ask your continual support of St. Rose of Lima Church.  Please contact the Rectory if you have any questions or would like further information on any of the above.

Thank you for your consideration and generosity!

Stewardship is A Way of Life! The U.S. Bishops in their Pastoral letter"Stewardship: A Disciple’s Response"  tell us that: As Christians Stewards, we receive God’s gifts gratefully; cultivate them responsibly; share them in love and justice with others; return them with increase; and stand before the Lord in a spirit of accountability.
Good Stewards have an "Attitude of Gratitude!"
